Houston, We Have a Problem...
...perhaps one of the most famous quotes and overused cliche's of our time, but that's exactly how you felt stranded on your R1200GS motorcycle in the middle of nowhere, with a flat tire and an outdated, sun-faded map. And now you're thinking, hmmm, maybe the BMW GPS option was a good idea after all.
Back at the hotel room, 10 long hours later (you were only 30 miles away), you decide to log on to A&S BMW Motorcycles' website and watch the instructional video for the BMW Navigator III. You quickly realize that you would have had an updated map to get you to your destination, and despite the lack of cell phone service at the time, the system's integrated Bluetooth technology would have still allowed you to communicate with the others from your group just a short distance ahead, alerting them of your flat tire situation. Plus, you could have been listening to music and logging your travel route, all hands free. It would have been great to carry around the BMW Navigator III GPS in your rental car as well.
And speaking of flat tires, you wish you had also watched the Tire Plugger video and bought a travel sized Tire Pocket Plugger Kit to repair that flat tire when road service was not an option. Thank goodness for Billy Jo Bob passing by with his horse trailer a couple hours ago. You look at your leathers now parked on the hotel bed and realize they are covered in a full day's worth of bugs and road dust and looking a little sun baked...on to the video for Nikwax Leather Cleaner and Nikwax Leather Restorer. You will definitely add those products to your must haves when you get back home.
